Services

Six freight tasks we take on, and the equipment behind each

From a single pallet across the Perth metropolitan area to an oversize plant movement up the Great Northern Highway.

General freight linehaul

Scheduled runs from Perth to regional centres carrying mixed general freight. Suited to businesses supplying regional branches, sites or stockists that need the same departure day every week.

  • Weekly and fortnightly scheduled lanes
  • Consolidated loads to keep rates workable
  • Backloading arranged where a return lane exists

Palletised distribution

Pallet, part-load and less-than-truckload freight for wholesalers, trades suppliers and light manufacturers. You pay for the deck space the freight occupies rather than a whole trailer.

  • Standard and oversized pallets
  • Tailgate collection and delivery where access is tight
  • Pallet counts reconciled at delivery

Container & wharf cartage

Import and export container movements between the Fremantle and Kwinana port precincts and metropolitan yards, planned around vehicle booking slots so containers are not sitting in detention.

  • Wharf collection and empty container dehire
  • Unpack-and-return or drop-and-collect
  • Slot times confirmed before dispatch

Flat-deck, plant & oversize

Steel, precast, building materials, machinery and site plant on flat-deck and drop-deck equipment. Where a load exceeds legal dimensions we arrange the Main Roads WA permit and travel conditions before booking a date.

  • Chain, strap and dunnage restraint selected per load
  • Permit and pilot requirements handled up front
  • Travel-time restrictions built into the schedule

Mine, energy & remote site delivery

Deliveries to sites in the Goldfields, Mid West and Pilbara where access is controlled and unloading windows are fixed. Site inductions, gate requirements and unloading arrangements are confirmed before departure.

  • Gate and induction requirements checked pre-trip
  • Unsealed access assessed before a date is committed
  • Delivery paperwork returned after sign-off

Metropolitan cartage & transfers

Same-day and next-day cartage across the Perth metropolitan area — depot-to-depot transfers, site deliveries and yard shuttles for businesses that need a truck without keeping one.

  • Ad hoc and standing metro bookings
  • Site and residential delivery access assessed first
  • Multi-drop runs planned in one loop
How a job runs

From enquiry to signed delivery docket

A consignment moves through the same five stages every time. The order matters, because each stage is what makes the next one possible.

  1. STAGE 01

    Enquiry and quote

You send the pickup and delivery suburbs, dimensions, weight and freight description. We confirm whether the corridor and equipment suit, then quote a rate and a pickup window.

  2. STAGE 02

    Booking and allocation

The job is allocated to a vehicle and a trip plan, with permit conditions, site access and any unloading requirements confirmed before the date is locked.

  3. STAGE 03

    Collection and restraint

Freight is checked against the consignment note, loaded, and restrained to the Load Restraint Guide. Anything that cannot be secured as presented is raised with you on the spot.

  4. STAGE 04

    Transit

The trip runs to a lawful driving and rest plan. If a road closure, breakdown or weather event changes the arrival, you hear about it the day it happens.

  5. STAGE 05

    Delivery and sign-off

Freight is unloaded into the agreed access point and the consignment note is signed. Proof of delivery is available to you on request.

Before you book

Four things that change a freight quote

Rates on the same corridor move for reasons that are easy to check at enquiry stage. Sending these details with your first email usually saves a round trip of questions.

  • Dimensions and weightActual dimensions, not nominal ones. A load that exceeds legal width or height changes the equipment, the permit and the travel hours.
  • Access at both endsWhether a semi can turn, whether there is a forklift, and whether tailgate unloading is required.
  • Time constraintsFixed unloading windows, site induction requirements and port slot times all affect scheduling.
  • Freight descriptionWhat the goods are, how they are packaged, and whether any part of the consignment is classified as dangerous goods.

Send the details and we will come back with a rate and a pickup window. If we are not the right carrier for the job, we will tell you that instead.
